The Investigations Academy offers practical training, incisive consultancy, alongside excellent coaching and mentoring.
Aimed mainly at police investigators and other law enforcement officers within the United Kingdom and internationally, we have the skills and abilities to assist.
We are a diverse group of predominantly retired police officers and law enforcement professionals and we are proud to have other related partners on the team. All have highly credible strategic and tactical backgrounds and care passionately about our lifelong professions.
Our aim is to impart our hard-won knowledge onto the next generation of colleagues who currently sit at the frontline, across the public and private sectors.
We are all like minded professionals, keen to unlock talent, and in so doing help build safer communities.

Simon O'Brien
founder
Simon founded the Academy in part due to his passion to make people and places safer. He believes that one way to achieve that is to pass on the practical knowledge from those who have been there, to those who are there now.
As a former Chief Officer of Police, later Police Ombudsman for the Republic of Ireland, he brings a panoply of skills to share.
